The upcoming Australia-ASEAN Business Forum marks a significant milestone, incorporating RCEP (Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership) with 5 additional countries namely Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan, Korea. This extends the diplomatic ties between Australia and the ASEAN member states and delivering Australia’s Southeast Asian Economic Strategy for 2040.
Following the success of the 2024 forum, this year’s agenda will focus on fostering collaboration, investment, and innovation in key sectors critical to sustainable growth. Discussions will explore:
A highlight of this year’s Forum is the Industry Roundtable Forums and Exhibitions, offering a dedicated space for sector-specific engagement and partnerships.
The Australia-ASEAN Business Forum is a premier platform connecting business leaders, policymakers, and innovators from across Australia and Southeast Asia.
Founded in 2014 by Mr Francis Wong OAM, OSJ, who serves as Chairman - our mission is to strengthen private sectors economic ties, foster cross-border collaboration, and promote emerging opportunities in trade, investment, and innovation across the region.
The Forum is also committed to supporting the Australia’s Southeast Asia Economic Strategy 2040, aligning its mission with long-term goals for regional growth, sustainability, and shared prosperity.
